Fatal San Bernardino Accident; Drug and Alcohol Believed Play Major Factor

Just two days ago, October 3rd, police and medical personnel responded to a car accident involving two vehicles. The accident killed one driver and severely injured another. According to San Bernardino Police, a 2007 Buick was heading east on Third Street when she started to cruise in the westbound lanes. The Buick then collided head-on with a 2005 Toyota that was operated by 23-year-old Gilbert Tarin. San Bernardino Police pronounced Tarin dead at the scene of the crash.

Police identified the driver of the Buick as 26-year-old Ahaunee Moreno. She sustained major injuries and was transported to a medical center where she would receive medical treatment.

Drugs and alcohol are believed to play a large role in the cause of the accident stated investigators. Police still looking for more information about that accident and have asked the public for any information that can be of assistance.
